Microsoft's Sim Update 15 has come against yet another setback. The release was initially projected for April or May I think, some issues necessitated a delay. Due initially way back when it was due for a March 12th rollout, the update was first pushed back to the end of March then to end of April and then again to May 7th, before coming across the latest roadblock
The main cause of the delay seems to be an issue during the testing phase of version 1.37.15.0. Mainly a Web Assembly (WASM) "missing content" error and performance problems on the Xbox. While the newest version 1.37.17.0, seems to have fixed some of the glitches, tiling issues etc, the Xbox stuttering and freezing issues remain.
I personally would rather have a working sim rather thank a patched up one. The present version that we all have 1.36.2.0 works very well on my system bar a few issues occasionally when loading and getting stuck on the update screen. I think the general opinion is much the same through the MSFS community, we have a working sim at the moment don't break it ASOBO just to release something on time, so well done ASOBO from me anyway.
